Full moon filming

As we are creating a werewolf teaser, the notion of the full moon is an integral part of our product. We have researched and discovered that the next full moon is tomorrow (23/09/2010) so we have planned to book out a couple cameras and film as much of it as possible!

Werewolf ears- could use during transformation stage

Werewolf hand no.1- could be perfect for the 'wolfman' esque hand shot we are looking to include

We were discussing use of props & decided to take a trip to Bluewater to look around in the fancy dress shops etc. We have previously found some really good masks online, but the props shown here are more in our price range, however we are still looking into the others.

Bloody chainsaw- could use in many ways- protagonist for fighting off werewolf. Or could place inside the gates of the abandoned 'were'house, which connates something horrible is going on inside.

Werewolf mask no.1- Very realistic.. especially if we only use quick shots of it, close up shots would give away that its only a fake mask

After our prop research trip to bluewater, we have looked around elsewhere and decided on a lot of the props we want to embed into our teaser. I was in bluewater again so purchased the werewolf gloves and fake ears, but we have since decided on using another mask due to costing.

Also, last week (23/9/2010) it was a full moon, so we booked out two cameras and filmed all we could. The footage is now up on the macs ready to be edited.

- Whats Inside - Mise en scene?

- So if we go ahead with the abadoned airfield/house for the idea for the main hiding spot for the werewolf - we will need at some point inside views of the locatin .
At such time, we are unaware on getting permission to enter the airfield- however we have other possible locations that we could use as the inside of the building.
-But what would a werewolf have in the building - as he lives in there..he would sleep there etc .
From the new wolfman film - they show anthony hopkins apporach the werewolf in human form - in his bedroom.

whats interesting about the mise en scene in this soht is the basics yet effectiveness it has.

A single bed frame in the corner - an old chair and what looks like a make shift table in the bottom right corner.

There are also chains in the room, so we get the impression that he tries to protect people from him. however we could use this in both ways as for the protection of the public and even the torture of the public.I will post shots of the bomb shelter i have at home - if we can get into it (its been sealed up).
